Den Jahresabschluss habe ich 2016 mit Freunden gefeiert. Als Location wählten wir das Mørtelwerk im Kanal 28 in Leipzig-Plawitz. Schon im Vorfeld bemerkten wir ein reges Interesse an unserer Party.
Unter dem Motto "Glitzer, Baby!" war es dann auch nicht verwunderlich, dass die Hütte an dem Abend ordentlich mit Ladies & Gentlemen in Glitzer-Sakkos und goldenen Kleidern gefüllt war. Der Eintritt war frei und so haben die Gäste ihr Portemonnaie großzügig für unsere Spendenaktion für ein Schulprojekt in Benin/Afrika aufgemacht.
Nachdem ich die Leute erstmal mit funky Grooves angewärmt hatte, übernahmen die coolen Jungs von Jim Jupiter und heizten nach Mitternacht die Party ordentlich mit gut gecoverten Indie-Klassikern ein. Danach gab's von Mister Ølsen bis in den Morgen Party-Hits...
Jim Jupiter spielen partytaugliche Indie-Rock-Hits und lassen sich auch für Privat-Parties buchen.
